This element, Conducting Effective On-Site Monitoring, focuses on the on-site review process, preparation for the monitoring visit and on-site activities.

Since an on-site monitoring review is typically the best way to completely understand the full scope of what is happening on the ground level, it is important for the monitor and the local area to be fully prepared for the review in order for the visit to be effective.
